Bracket treatment involves moving the teeth in a controlled way by means of brackets bonded to the teeth and archwires. Alongside metal brackets, a ceramic bracket option close to the shade of the teeth is also available. Since fixed appliances can make oral hygiene more difficult, the use of an interdental brush and regular review appointments are part of the treatment. The duration of the treatment and the method to be applied are determined after an orthodontic assessment.
